2026 China International Consumer Electronics Fair closes with nearly 50,000 visitors

Original headline: AI takes the lead — multiple “firsts” drive the fair’s evolution

On September 6, the 2026 China International Consumer Electronics Fair (CEIS) concluded at the Qingdao International Convention Center (Hongdao Hall).

Under the theme “AI Leading, Intelligently Enabling the Future”, the exhibition covered 60,000 square meters. It debuted a smart health & wellness zone, a specialized & innovative (专精特新) pavilion, and an online supply–demand matching platform — moving from a product showcase toward an industry ecosystem hub.

Nearly 50,000 people visited on site; more than 30 new products, technologies and achievements were unveiled; and over 870 companies joined industry exchanges and trade matchmaking.

The fair’s first online matching platform extended deal-making beyond the floor. Buyers from nearly 30 countries — including Mexico, Russia, Brazil and Korea — attended and praised the technical fit and product breadth across smart robotics, whole-home intelligence, new-energy appliances and intelligent connected vehicles.

Procurement interest included Brazil’s focus on new-energy appliances and autos (about USD 5 million budget), Uzbekistan’s smart cameras and learning devices, Mexico and Russia on whole-home systems and robot components, and Korea on low-altitude drones and smart mobility. Multiple parties have reached cooperation intent.

Qingdao’s Commerce Bureau also ran home-appliance trade-in promotions alongside the fair. CEIS continues to help Qingdao shift from a manufacturing hub toward an industry organizer on the global consumer-electronics map.
